As an empathic Women’s Health Specialist and Nurse Practitioner, Katie Sharp, MS, WHNP, goes above and beyond to provide the highest caliber obstetric and gynecologic services for women at Manhattan Women’s Health in the Upper East Side of New York City.
Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee, before completing her Master of Science in Nursing, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she won the Academic Excellence Award WHNP in 2018.
Katie has impressive credentials, for example, she completed basic life support training, and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP certification) with the prestigious American Heart Association.
From Northside Hospital in Atlanta to the Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, Georgia, Katie has extensive medical experience, training, and education. She was also previously a registered nurse (postpartum) at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
Active in her field, Katie is always advancing her knowledge and skillset, which is why she holds an affiliation with Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH).
