Zoya Gavrilman, MD, is an accomplished and proficient obstetrician and gynecologist who truly cares about enhancing women’s wellness and providing them with the top-quality individualized medical support they deserve. Dr. Gavrilman serves women at Manhattan Women’s Health and Tribeca Women’s Health, with offices in Tribeca and the Upper East Side of New York City.
Dr. Gavrilman graduated with a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor before completing her Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She finished her medical residency in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive science at Mount Sinai West Icahn School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Beth Israel Icahn School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York City.
Dr. Gavrilman has ample experience teaching and lecturing. She’s been a presenter at Mount Sinai West, Wayne State University, and other clinics and organizations where she delved into topics like obstetrics morbidity and mortality and adnexal masses in pregnancy. She’s worn numerous medical hats and played many roles to diversify and expand her training and experience; she’s been an intern, an office assistant, a lecturer, and a pharmacy technician for CVS Pharmacy.
Eager to play her part in advancing the field of women’s health, Dr. Gavrilman has assisted with the Residency Research Project at Mount Sinai West and other innovative and valuable research projects.
Dr. Gavrilman frequently volunteers her medical services to help others. For example, she was previously the volunteer at the Cass Clinic — a student-run free clinic in Detroit where she obtained medical histories, performed physical exams, managed medications and more. She particularly enjoys assisting at children’s hospitals, such as the Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she volunteered in the pediatric and hematology unit and engaged children during play and music therapy sessions.
Recognized for her hard work and dedication to the field, Dr. Gavrilman has won several awards, such as the 2017 Ryan Program Resident Award for Excellence in Family Planning at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. Dr. Gavrilman has many certifications, such as the neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification. She’s also a member of the American College of Physicians and a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gavrilman treats pelvic pain, dyspareunia, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and many other conditions that affect women. She’s passionate about guiding women through the most important times of their lives, including adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause.
